Browse without signing up

There is no sign-up, login, comment, or inquiry form. The site does not collect or store information that identifies you, such as your name, phone number, or address. What you send by email may be handled by a separate mail service, so it is better not to write personal information you do not need to send.

Event and region settings are kept on this device

Only the event ID and the province or city, or the dong/eup/myeon code you picked yourself, are kept in this browser's storage. So that saved event IDs stay on the same device, they are also kept in this site's cookie (dopamine.saved.v1, up to 400 days). The browser sends the cookie with requests to this site, but the site does not read or record it on the server. Event titles, radius, and current coordinates are not saved. It is not synced to other devices, and Saved events lets you delete individual items or the whole list. Region is cleared with Reset filters. Clearing site data and cookies in your browser also deletes everything.

Festival reaction keywords are only counted

When you tap a keyword under “How was this festival?” on a festival page, the server only adds to counts for that festival ID, keyword and date (Korea time), and whether this is the first tap for that festival in this browser. Taps over the daily limit that are not counted are kept only as a daily total. We don't store anything that could tell who tapped it, such as your IP address, device information or cookies, and reaction requests are sent without cookies. There is no login, posting or nickname. So that the same keyword isn't tapped twice, only the festival IDs and keywords you tapped are kept in this browser's storage (dopamine.reacted.v1, up to the latest 200 festivals). You can remove them by clearing this site's data in your browser.

The counts are kept in a database at Cloudflare, which serves this site. A keyword's count stays hidden until it reaches 3 reactions, and the home page's “Festivals that drew reactions this week” is chosen by reactions in the last 7 days. Reactions are not verified visits, so they may differ from real visitor reviews. This is a 4-week trial; when it ends, we will say so on this page and delete the collected counts.

Your current location is worked out only on your device

The first time, permission is requested only after you press the My location button. In a browser that has already allowed it, your location is read once when you open the home or neighborhood screen. If a neighborhood you picked yourself is saved, that choice is restored first. If permission was denied, we do not ask again and point you to choosing a neighborhood by hand.

Coordinates are used only in the memory of the current screen while straight-line distances are calculated. They are not sent to a server, the address bar, storage, analytics tools, or logs. Use ends with Stop using location or when you leave the screen. A neighborhood you pick yourself is a public approximate location, not your current position or an exact administrative boundary.

The event search on a card opens a Google search in a new window with only the event name in it. Your location, neighborhood, and saved list are not included, and once you leave, Google's own policy applies. View on map goes to this site's festival map.

Maps open only when you tap them

A map link contains only the event's own public coordinates or the venue name. Your current coordinates are not included. Once you move to an outside map service, that service's policy applies.

We collect visit statistics

When you open this site, visit statistics are collected with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. We do not show a separate consent window; this page is the notice. Page views, search engine referrers, and usage items such as date filters, saving an event, and going to an official page are collected and used to improve the screens.

The only values sent are the origin and path of the canonical page address, the origin of search services on an allow list, the kind of date filter, the range of how many items are saved, and the kind of official link. Your current GPS coordinates, the neighborhood code you chose, search terms, event IDs, and names, phone numbers, or email addresses are not sent. Query strings and fragment identifiers in the page address are left out too.

Google may process analytics cookies, device and browser information, and the IP address of the request. Ad personalization and advertising signals are not used. Search engine information and site usage figures are kept as separate metrics.

Google Analytics keeps event- and user-level records for up to 14 months, then deletes them automatically. Aggregated reports by date remain after that.

If you do not want this collection, you can use your browser's cookie and tracking blocking settings, or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Blocking it still lets you browse and save events. It does not retroactively delete data that was already sent.

You can read how Google processes, stores, and transfers data in the Google Privacy Policy. For questions about your own information, please use the contact channel below.

Ads

Visit statistics and ads are separate things. Ads are off at the moment. If Google or Kakao ads are turned on, we will explain that processing separately.

When ads are turned on, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Ads Settings below.

Google advertising privacy notice and Ad personalization settings show how those companies handle data.
